Syllabus

Implementation of Internship by students in a real environment of a business or public organization in the field of their specialty (information and communication technologies). Each year, the internship positions are defined as those that the Department has secured through its collaborations with companies in the private and public sectors.

Learning Outcomes

  • A valuable opportunity is provided to students to acquire a 'real-life' experience of a workplace (private sectro firm, or public sector organization), to execute tasks of their domain (information and communication technologies), to acquire new knowledge, to participate actively in teamwork, to develop their skills, to participate in the design and implementation of projects and in general to gain work experience.
  • Improvement of the career prospects of the students
  • Familiarization with modern methods for developing young entrepreneurship
  • Contribution of internships to strengthen the interconnection of educational institutions with the market and development of networking – partnerships.

Basic Textbooks

Depending on the specific topics of the internship, the relevant literature that must be studied is provided by the supervisor (an experienced employee) at the internship organization (business or public organization) and the supervising professor

Teaching and Learning Methods

Supervised work in the internship organization       120 hours

Write-up of final internship report                               5 hours

Student Performance Evaluation

Evaluation by the supervisor (an experienced employee) at the internship organization (business or public organization) through the completion of an evaluation questionnaire.

Submission and grading of the internship report by the supervising professor
