Dr. Konstantinos Maliatsos graduated from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2003. In 2003, he began his collaboration with the Mobile Radio Communications Laboratory of NTUA as a research engineer in various research projects. In 2005, he obtained the postgraduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the inter-university postgraduate program "Techno-Economic Systems" organized by the NTUA, the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and the University of Piraeus. He started working on his doctoral dissertation entitled "Transmission Techniques, Analysis and Design of Adaptive Cognitive Radio Systems", which he successfully completed in 2011.
His current research interests include: information theory with emphasis on wireless communications, measurement and modeling of radio channels, vehicular communications (V2X), risk modeling in communications and information systems, cybersecurity controls, intelligent transport systems (ITS), Software Radios, Cognitive Radios, dynamic spectrum access techniques, advanced MIMO systems and the application of machine learning in telecommunications.
